Where is MINKST’s Sydney located?

Which hospitals does MINKST use in Sydney?
Procedures are performed at accredited Sydney facilities including Sydney Day Hospital, The Sydney Private Hospital, Waratah Private Hospital, and Kingsgrove Day Hospital. Your allocated hospital will be confirmed with your surgical booking.
Can I start with a virtual consultation?
Yes. Virtual consultations are available for Sydney patients who’d prefer an initial conversation from home. An in-person appointment with your doctor is still required before surgery can proceed.
I’m travelling from regional NSW – what should I plan for?
We recommend arranging accommodation near your hospital for at least the night of surgery – you’ll need a responsible adult to take you home and stay with you overnight. Our team can help with logistics, and our Sydney recovery guide covers accommodation, food delivery, and recovery tips. It’s important not to book anything until your surgery plan is confirmed!
Why is MINKST’s pricing lower than other Sydney clinics?
MINKST operates efficiently by working with multiple accredited hospital partners and experienced doctors at cosmetic surgery across Australia. We pass those efficiencies on to patients. Our pricing is all-inclusive with no hidden fees – the same quality implants, hospitals, and care, without the premium price tag.
Will breast augmentation affect breastfeeding?
Having breast implants – whether above or below the muscle – does not typically prevent breastfeeding. That said, every person’s anatomy is different. If breastfeeding is important to you, let your doctor know during your consultation so you can have a discussion and make an informed decision.
How long do breast implants last?
There’s no fixed expiry date, but breast implants are not designed to last forever. Many patients go 10-20 years before revision surgery becomes necessary – usually because of cosmetic changes, capsular contracture, or implant wear.
Are breast implants safe?
When performed by an appropriately qualified doctor using TGA-approved implants, breast augmentation is considered a safe procedure. Like all surgery, it carries risks – your doctor will explain these in full at your consultation so you can make an informed decision. A detailed list of risks is provided in the Recovery & Risks section above.
Is breast augmentation covered by Medicare or private health insurance?
No. As a cosmetic procedure, breast augmentation is not eligible for Medicare rebates or private health insurance claims. For information on payment plans and financing, see our payment options page.
