The Procedure
The procedure is performed by inserting a cannula (tube) under the skin, which generates controlled heat and passes radiofrequency energy up to the skin’s surface. This creates tightening of tissues and stimulating collagen production.
The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia taking 2-3 hours, and you can go home and resume regular activities shortly after.
Results
You can expect to see some improvement right away. However, the full effects of the treatment will continue to develop as your body produces collagen for 6 – 12 months.
The results of FaceTite are typically long-lasting, up to 5+ years
Recovery
Following the procedure there is some recovery required, with most patients returning to their normal activities after 5-7 days.
Every patient is different but generally patients do not experience too much pain during their recovery. However some may experience swelling, redness, and tenderness in the treated area. These side effects are usually mild and resolve on their own within a week or two.
